アジア原子力研修生が来学しました

2023年9月より2ヶ月間にわたり，海外から原子力研究で研修生が来学しました．これは，文部科学省の原子力研究交流制度を利用したものです．
今年度は，Danさん（フィリピン原子力研究所），Okviさん（インドネシア国立研究革新庁）の2名を受け入れました．両名に，本学や日本の印象を書いてもらいました．Danさんは，「八戸工業大学には効果的に学習するために必要なリソースが揃っており，学生に目標を達成するために必要なサポートが提供されている．」と印象を述べてくれました．Okviさんは，「スタッフの温かいもてなしが印象に残った．また，本学で学んだことを自国に持ち帰り，指導に役立てたい。」と述べてくれました．
すでに研修は終了し，両名とも本国に戻られました．2ヶ月間，お疲れ様でした．

Danさん
HIT is a great place to learn. They have the necessary resources for the students to learn effectively. The laboratories are equipped with the necessary instruments and equipment needed for practical applications. The professors are experts in their own designated field. Students are provided with all the necessary support in achieving their goals.
Okviさん
There is always a first impression when doing something new, from the environment or meeting new people. My first impression when I arrived at Hachinohe was that the staff was warmly welcomed and accompanied us and adapt here. The HIT environment also looks very cool and comfortable, surrounded by lots of trees. The first week we were invited to Rokkasho Village where there are many nuclear facilities. Apart from studying nuclear, we also learn about Japanese culture, which of course is a new life experience. We were also taught by kind and reliable professors about fabricating detectors, weekly lecture about calculations from the Fukushima Daichii accident and so on. Then we are also given the opportunity to learn on our own, and can carry out self-development which is difficult if done in the office (outside of the training period). On this occasion I try to add new material that I can provide to students using my facilities, from the reference books available here.
